Meet the team

Hi, my name is Hannah and I own and run Happy Paws.

I started Happy Paws in September 2014 after completing a 2 year course studying Animal Management at Sparsholt College in Winchester which I thoroughly enjoyed! The course covered all sorts of topics such as health, behaviour and training. I completely love my job and get to spend the day with a whole bunch of different characters. Not a single day is the same and I finish each day loving it even more!

Dogs have become my passion, hobby and career which take up most of my week! I own three lovely dogs. All three love coming out on group walks playing with their buddies and running off some of their endless energy! They all train and compete in agility and absolutely love it! Getting to train and spend one on one time with the dogs is super important to me and what better way than doing something we all love together!

This is my mini tribe!

The lemon roan Working Cocker on the left is Fynley. He is 3 years old and is a total doofus! He absolutely loves his agility and would spend all day, everyday training if he could. He is just starting to compete and I’m sure he is going to do very well. Although he’s crazy when out and about, he is the total opposite at home and is the biggest cuddle monster.

The golden Working Cocker at the back is Bliss. She has just turned 1 and is super crazy! Her most favourite thing to do is splash in the sea and in puddles. She’s a very smart girlie, sometimes a little too clever! Much like Fynn she is super cuddly and always has to have the prime cuddle spot! It’s no wonder why she is nicknamed ‘Princess’ in our house!

The black Labrador is Isla, my very first dog. She is the reason Happy Paws came about and has made some fab pals within the gang! Isla also started my love for agility and after 3 years of training is also just starting her competing career. Although she enjoys getting out and being active, she loves nothing more than a good snooze and some food! After all, she is a Labrador!

The Springer Spaniel at the front is Gypsy. Gypsy is my Mum’s dog and is now nearly 13 years young. I guess you could say she has been the inspiration behind my passion for dogs as I have grown up with her through a large part of my childhood. She is the sweetest and most friendliest dog ever and has THE waggiest tail – she even won a rosette for that once! Being 13 doesn’t stop her or slow her down! She is still crazy and enjoys all her walks out the with gang!
